Courion announces its 10th annual CONVERGE customer conference
Conference content will focus on customer success stories, access risk management and access intelligence
WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Courion Corporation, the leader in identity and access management (IAM) for access risk, today announced that CONVERGE, the company’s annual customer conference, will return to Boston for its 10th anniversary on May 20-23 at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel. The event is sponsored by Courion partners NaviSite, Cyber-Ark and SecureReset.
The conference agenda addresses the challenges of identity and access management in the new era of enterprise computing. Participants will discuss how in today’s mobile, always-on, cloud-based business environment, companies need to ensure they have the proper identity, access and governance controls in place to manage user access, demonstrate compliance and improve security.
CONVERGE 2012 will feature panel discussions, case study presentations and interactive sessions addressing the most critical identity and access management issues. Sessions feature speakers from Courion’s customer base, including Cape Cod Healthcare, SunTrust Banks, Memorial Hermann Health System, State Street Bank, HCR ManorCare, the American Red Cross and more. Courion-led presentations will focus on the evolution of Courion’s product strategy and roadmap, and how to extract more value from an IAM implementation through access compliance management, role-based user access, the use of analytics to reduce access risk and IAM in the cloud.
In addition to sessions, the conference hosts a Solutions Showcase featuring live product demonstrations from Courion, its customers and sponsors. Courion demonstrations will include its Access Insight™ access intelligence and CourionLive™ cloud-based IAM solutions. The Courion Labs Emerging Technology team will demonstrate the challenges of managing user access to and from mobile devices.
“Enterprise computing has entered a new era with the widespread adoption of cloud-based applications and mobile devices, in addition to the greater risks emerging from inadequate access control mechanisms, more sophisticated hackers committing malicious offenses and decentralized access risk management,” said Chris Zannetos, president and CEO at Courion. “We’re thrilled that for the tenth year in a row, customers continue to attend CONVERGE to share their collective experiences dealing with these issues and to learn how to successfully address their most critical identity, access and compliance management challenges.”
