Chris Zannetos
President and CEO
Biography
Zannetos is co-founder and CEO of Courion and is responsible for setting Courion's strategic direction. Under his leadership since 1996, the company has built a customer base of more than 300 customers, including 60 of the Fortune 500, and has been recognized as a leader in the Enterprise Provisioning market with a number of awards including the Upside Hot 100, Computerworld's Emerging Companies to Watch, SC Magazine Global Award for Best Identity Management Solution, eWEEK Excellence Award for Best Authentication and User Management Product, and the Harold Short Award given annually to the single most innovative technology in the IT Service industry. Zannetos is co-chair of the TechNet CEO Cybersecurity Task Force and sits on the Digital ID World (DIDW) Industry Advisory Board.
Prior to Courion, Zannetos was a co-founder and partner at Onsett International, a leading IT service and security consulting firm. While at Onsett, he led IT operations re-engineering, enterprise security, and global network architecture programs for several Global 500 customers - and led Onsett's marketing and sales efforts achieving 90% annualized growth over the course of five years. Zannetos has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Economics and Political Science from MIT and a Master of Science degree in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Brian Milas
Chief Technology Officer
Biography
Brian is Courion's co-founder and software visionary, and ensures that technical excellence is a cornerstone of the company. Brian designed the original workflow automation platform that was used by the initial versions of PasswordCourier, and the second generation platform that PasswordCourier now shares with AccountCourier and Courion's other identity management solutions. He has over 15 years of experience in PC, LAN, and Web-based software development and management. Prior to co-founding Courion, Brian was a principal software engineer at Data General where he developed Web-based software support systems, client/server application toolkits, and a variety of network integration and network management software systems. Brian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve.
Bob Cirrone
Chief Financial Officer
Biography
Bob Cirrone is Courion's chief financial officer (CFO) and is responsible for the company's finance and accounting operations. As Courion continues to expand its worldwide operations in response to rapidly growing demand in the Enterprise Provisioning market, his strength in operations management and global operations, as well as financial management, are key components in accelerating Courion’s growth. With over 30 years of financial management experience, Bob has been the CFO of both private and public software and networking companies.
Prior to joining Courion Cirrone was the CFO of Connected Corporation, a $30M+ provider of automation software for storage, archiving and recovery of distributed data, which was acquired late last year by Iron Mountain. In prior positions, he was CFO of Shiva Corporation and InfoLibria, VP of Finance for Worldwide Audit for Sun Microsystems and VP of Operations for SunExpress. Cirrone received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Northeastern University.
Todd Chambers
Chief Marketing Officer
Biography
As chief marketing officer, Todd Chambers is responsible for Courion’s worldwide marketing activities including corporate branding, product go-to-market strategies, integrated demand generation, and strategic customer and partner programs. As a key member of the executive team, Todd brings more than 20 years of software marketing and branding experience to Courion.
Prior to joining Courion, Chambers was senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Presstek, a leading manufacturer and marketer of high tech digital imaging solutions; Chief Marketing Officer at Onyx Software, a worldwide leader in customer relationship management (CRM) solutions; Vice President of Marketing at Authoria, a leader in HR enterprise software solutions; and Senior Partner at Ogilvy &Mather Advertising and Chairman of OgilvyInteractive Asia/Pacific.
Todd earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and computer science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Bill Norberg.
Senior Vice President of Field Operations
Biography
As senior vice president of field operations, Bill Norberg is responsible for managing and scaling Courion’s field sales, channel sales and international operations to the next stage of the company’s growth. A key member of the executive team, Bill brings more than 30 years of technology sales experience and more than a decade of senior management experience.
In previous roles, he has demonstrated success in executing direct sales, channel and partner programs that significantly increased revenues. Prior to Courion, he was the vice president of world wide sales for Ibrix, Inc. where he instituted partner and channel programs that tripled company revenues from fiscal 2005 through fiscal 2006. As vice president of world wide sales at NSI Software, he managed to quadruple sales over a two year period. He has also served as vice president of sales at StorageNetworks, and held senior sales positions at Parametric Technology Corporation and Prime Computer. Bill is a graduate of Boston College.
Ken Olivolo
Vice President of Field Sales
Biography
Ken's responsibilities include managing Courion's direct and inside sales organization, facilitating its continued growth, development and revenue generation. He also focuses on increasing sales within existing client accounts as well as growing new business, expanding markets, and assuring client satisfaction and commitment. Ken brings over 16 years of technology sales and management experience to his current role at Courion.
Ken joined Courion in 2004 as its Director of North American Sales. Prior to joining Courion he worked as the Director of North American Sales for Lightbridge, Inc. where he was responsible for driving explosive revenue growth in Lightbridge's provisioning, risk and fraud software businesses. Immediately prior, he served as district sales manager for the sale and distribution of turnkey software and hardware solutions for AT&T's Global Solutions division in Boston, Mass. In this capacity, he was responsible for the development and retention of Fortune 500 accounts in New England.
Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire's Whittemore School of Business and graduated Cum Laude. He has received numerous sales awards/honors during his career.
Kurt Johnson
Vice President of Corporate Development
Biography
Johnson is responsible for Courion's strategic direction, product management, and securing and managing Courion's alliances and partnerships. Prior to Courion, Kurt was Vice President of the Service Management Strategies program at META Group, a leading industry research organization. At META, Kurt established himself as a leading authority on the help desk, IT service management, system management and IT outsourcing markets. Kurt is widely recognized as an authority on support automation and self-service operations. Before joining META Group, Kurt held consulting and management positions with The Bentley Company, now part of eLoyalty, an enterprise CRM service and solutions company, and with International Data Corporation, a leader in IT market research. Kurt also worked in financial and software product management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. Kurt has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Marketing and Finance from Boston College.
Chris Sullivan
Vice President of Customer Solutions
Biography
As Vice President of Customer Solutions, Chris heads both the Solutions Engineering and Customer Management areas for Courion Corporation. Solutions Engineering is comprised of architects and engineers who work in pre and post-sales capacities to shape enterprise provisioning and compliance programs for some of the world's largest companies. Customer Management is accountable for customer success across the company. Chris is also responsible for building a sales consulting capability and defining and institutionalizing implementation methodologies to ensure customers realize rapid and lasting business results from their provisioning deployments. He applies best practices strategies developed from over 275 customer implementations and works directly with security and IT operations teams to ensure customer success.
Prior to joining Courion, Chris was president and co-founder of ISOLX, Inc., a provider of systems integration services. In this role, he directed all facets of business operations including business development, resource planning, operations, and delivery. Prior to founding ISOLX, Chris was a partner at Onsett International, a leading IT service and security consulting firm that provided strategic consulting to global institutions. At Onsett, he developed the e-business solutions, IT Operations, and Outsourcing Management practices. Before Onsett, Chris worked in a variety of product management, engineering, and research and development roles for international companies including Samsung, Schlumberger, Digital Equipment Corporation, and IBM. Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
Tim McAlice
Vice President of Development
Biography
Tim McAlice directs all of Courion's software development activities, including software design, development, documentation, and quality testing of Courion's Enterprise Provisioning Suite.
Tim brings 20 years of software development and software management experience to Courion. Prior to joining Courion, Tim was the Vice President of Engineering at NetSuite Development Corporation, which pioneered the development of software products for network discovery, design, validation, and documentation. Tim directed the activities of engineering, support, quality assurance, and engineering services. He managed and scaled the engineering efforts for NetSuite's patented N'telligence technology, during NetSuite's astronomical 11x revenue growth across a two year period. He went on to play a key role in the eventual acquisition of NetSuite by Visionael Corporation. Previous to NetSuite, Tim held various leadership roles in both Data General, and Raytheon's, product development divisions. Tim holds a BSEE from the University of Rhode Island College of Engineering.
Kathy Pugh
Vice President of Services
Biography
As vice president of services, Kathy Pugh is responsible for managing Courion's professional services, services partner management, technical support, and training. Kathy brings proven customer service and relationship management skills with deep financial services and compliance experience to this role. Her past experience in building scalable services organizations will be instrumental as Courion continues to grow.
Prior to joining Courion, Kathy was vice president of professional services for Charles River Development where she was responsible for professional services, training, hosting and outsourcing services. While at Boston Trust, an asset management firm, Kathy was their senior vice president and chief administrative officer responsible for operations, IT and trading . As regional vice president of professional services for Advent Software, Kathy led the services organization's successful re-engineering effort. Kathy holds a BA in economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
